Collective bargaining agreement

Multiparty agreement for Swiss couriers

Summary

This collective agreement orginally entered into force in May 2019 and was subsequently renewed in 2023-24 for bike couriers establishes employment standards through social dialogue between the Swiss trade union Syndicom and the Swiss employer association SML. It is not a sector-wide agreement and currently applies to approximately 15 platform companies. The inclusion of additional platforms requires the consent of the signatory parties. The agreement establishes provisions on wages, working conditions, and social protections for platform employees, building on the 2019 framework while introducing new sustainability measures and enhanced dispute resolution mechanisms.
