Summary

Signed in July 2018, this agreement supplements the national sectoral agreement for logistics, and it was integrated into the sectoral agreement renewed in 2021, and updated in Sept. 2025. It was negotiated by Italian Federation of Transport (FILT), Italian General Confederation of Labour (CGIL); Italian Federation of Transport (FILT), Italian Confederation of Workers' Unions (CISL); Italian Union of Transport and Services Workers (UILTRASPORTI), Italian Labour Union (UIL) with employer associations. The agreement formalises employment conditions for couriers performing delivery tasks by bicycle or motorbike. It includes provisions on minimum hourly wages, working time regulation, algorithmic neutrality, occupational safety and health (OSH), and non-discrimination. While initially not binding on platform companies, it was subsequently implemented in multiple platform-level agreements.
